My Story
Oliver is an epidemiologist with experience working on national and sentinel disease surveillance services. Most recently, Oliver serves as a public advocate for improving access to epidemiological knowledge. In this capacity, he co-lead the Imperial College London’s online course: Science Matters - Let’s Talk about COVID-19 with over 150,000 learners.
Before epi[x], Oliver taught epidemiology at Imperial College for several years. Oliver has worked with several organisations such as the World Health Organisation (WHO), Public Health England (PHE) the European Centre for Disease Control (ECDC), the Bill and the Melinda Gates Foundation and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in the United States. Oliver holds an MRes in synthetic and computational biology from Imperial College London and an MSc in Health Economics and Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
